Ok, my friend owns a salvage yard & I was wanting a CRX - something to fix up & turbo & stuff... & anyway - He has a 85 CRX Si with a good engine & tranny (5 speed). The only thing that its missing is the front 2 fenders & the passenger wheel. Other than that, its fine & starts up. Now, is the aftermarket on this vehicle very good? Is the engine good to tune? I know nothing about the CRX & especially this old-school version. Someone give me some info!!! Thanks!

well they are great cars, but, the aftermarket support is kinda shitty on the 1st gens...

you have to be creative and do a lot of hybrid swaps/parts to make it any faster, brake faster, handle better...

but in stock form they are still a great ride...

definatly pick it up and save it from its grave...an 85 Si is the first year for the Si...
