Cam Angle Sensor ?? help DOHC ZC
heres a quik explanation of my .... The car was running with a 88-89 PG7 ecm, and wouldnt pass emissions, so I decided to try out the Si Ecu to lean it out, but when the Si ecm went in the engine light turned on after the motor warms up, a Mechanic say its the cam angle sensor thats throwing a code. but it turns back off when the PG7 is put in, except for yesterday i was mobbing with Si and it was running horribly so I put back the Pg7 and now the engine light wont turn off =\
I beleive my motors a 87 integra motor, not a true ZC.. oh yea wondering how do i check the check engine light to see if theres anything else wrong with it

it blinks 9 time .. and no its not that black top and theres no ZC badge on the motor .. plus the engine mount on the cam side is from a civic and the oil filter is the big ones from a 87
hahaha-have fun with that code 9. Me and my buddy tried to get rid of it for 8 months on his 91 DOHC ZC. We redid the timing countless times, replaced the cam angle sensor twice( even though the multimeter said it was ok).
So we dropped in a Z6 this weekend.
*edit*
Why did you say DOHC ZC if it's not?

Why did you say DOHC ZC if it's not?</TD></TR></TABLE>lol. had the same problem. Endend up buying new sensor, distributor, rewired everything, and it wouldn't go away. Started playing with the timing one day and cel light went away. Does your timing jump when you but a light on it? These motors seem very sensitive with that sensor not being inside the dizzy.
