lucky you. wish his did, i was thinking, he might need another valve adjustment, he had ctr cams in it, and had a fresh valve adjust job done a few weeks ago.

can that be it maybe. thanks alot

you might want to check for vacuum leaks if the idle is flucuatin
for the most part skunk stage 2's idle pretty good

maybe also check fuel pressure at idle to see if its running hella rich or anything

was that all you did? install the cams and adjust the valves? the cams shoudn't get you idling like that.

i'd check everything else...

idling like that is usually caused by:

-vaccum leak
-tps out of adjustment (won't always throw a code)
-iacv
-fast idle valve

i'd check out those items before blaming the cams.

eh probably a fuel trim issue at idle. i guarrantee a wideband woulda shown some extremly lean or rich idle conditions.

ive noticed ~10:1 the car does not like to stay in one place at idle and mostly will sit still for me at ~12-13.5:1 might even sit stil at higher a/f but im at 13.5 with the afc at -50

Like stated b4, it's not the cams making it idle like that. It prolly has a vacuum leak or maybe just the iacv or something like that.

skunk2's would probably be the best springs for those cams. Don't waste your money on titanium retainers unless your stock ones have a lot of wear or miles. Titanium retainers wear too fast and do really do you any good, other then letting you rev an extra 200 rpms. I dont think its worth having to change them every 20k miles.

i just put in stage2 and had a bunch of trouble trying to get an idle until i remembered that i had an idle screw lol. so i unplugged my IAC and where my stage1s idled the stage2 would die. so i just turned the screw until i got ~750 and everythin g is semi good. the idle will go between like 650 and 900 but it does not stall and comes off idle good on throttle tip in

Titanium is actually brittle on the surface, so it scratches easier than steel, despite the fact that the metal is more dense than steel.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 99skunkedSi &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
