Default Flat Black Paint codes

Hey does anyone kno the best paint code for flat black? I was gonna use 212683
Auto Flat Black but wasn't sure if that was the one everyone used. I plan on painting the car and rims with this and was wondering if the 209621 Auto Cold Galvanizing Compound would be a good primer to use thats cheap? Last question does anyone know were to buy gallons of Rust Oleum paint and primer? This is just gonna be my daily driver but I wanna do it right.

Maybe I'm wronge for sum reason I thought I read not to use a clear coat cause it adds gloss to the paint.

that's why i said a "matte" clear coat, it wouldn't be glossy, it'd be a "matte" finish...but i'm not positive.

look into House of Kolors Flat Addener.
its an additive to regular gloss clear coat, that will flattened the finish.

as for the color underneath, it doesnt matter. you can use a regular gloss black paint (from any paint company PPG, Dupont, etc) and after using the flattned clear coat, it'll come out FLAT....

search google for flat black and/or hot rods. you'll find hotrod forums with people talking about flat black paints.....

I used rustoleum flat black paint from home depot and mixed a 50/50 ratio with paint thinner. it took a quart of each to do the whole car. Heres a pic for reference:

PPG just came out with a FLAT CLEAR you can base clear a car but it will be 0-5% shine so basicly a flat color. and It has all the uv protection you will need. The clear is called FLEX N FLAT by PPG.

Stay away from the rattle can..Very very bad idea.GO with a base and a matte or flat clear. In my shop we use strictly DuPont and I will ask my rep what to use.But I would use the PPG product in the above post.PPG makes great products so don't be scared to use them.Doing it this way will cost alot more but will look great 3 years from now ...or longer
