Default Cool Brake Kit Thanks fastbrakes.

This kit kicks @ss. I can't wait for the 2 pot rear.

I highly recommend talking to fasterbrakes if you have some money burning a hole in your pocket.

$700 Shipped. I had to do some small modifications to get it to fit under the 94 GSR wheels. (I think that they are a hair smaller than the 95+) This kit is worth every penny spent on it.

Yeah, but when my friend offered me the wheels for $200 with decent tires on them I couldn't resist. Maybe someday I will send them off to one of those places that refinish wheels...

Yeah, there is a big decrease in stopping distance. I can't tell you for sure until I upgrade the rear kit. Right now the car dives in a hard stop.

The rotor is 11". I am running the CarboTech Panther pads. The install took all weekend, but only because the 94 GSR wheels are a little smaller in the inside than the 95+ wheels. I had to grind the top finger that holds a bolt done some to fit it over aonther bolt, and I had to take 1mm off of the top of the caliper to get it to clear the wheel.

Looks great man nice job. Anyone know if the rear rotors on a 95 GSR needs to be pressed off or not?

2 rotors (slotted)
2 wilwood superlite 4 pot calipers
2 caliper relocation brackets
mounting hardware.

pads are extra, slotted/drilled rotors are extra, 2 peice rotors are extra, and stainless steel brake lines are extra.

The price I have at the top ($698 shipped) was with CarboTech PantherD pads, no other extras.

You could've gotten a wilwood kit with a better caliper (Dynalite 2 vs. Superlight) & 2 piece 12.2" rotor for less! ($670). Just giving you guys a heads up... But still your kit does look nice

I am into the best, I might upgrade to the dynalite calipers later, but I do not want to run 16's or 17's. First in order to seep the same final drive I have to run a 45 series tire. Now that is not a big deal if you live some place where they take care of the streets. I don't. My friend lost a 16" rim when he hit a peice of concrete that was on the road under an overpass. We didn't even see it. And there is no way that I am going to run anything smaller than a 45 so 17's are out. It all comes down to wanting to keep my final drive the same.

Actually the Dynalite is not a better caliper than the Superlite. The calipers were developed for different applications so they can't really be compared directly. The Dynalite is a small cast or billet caliper and the Superlite is a larger cast or billet caliper. The Dynalite uses a smaller pad than the Superlite as well.

I chose the Superlite because it has a lower profile than the Dynalite, making it a better fit for the 15" wheel brake applications I specialize in.
