i am looking into making a plexiglass sunroof. mine is broken and want to replace it with tinted plexiglass. should i tint both sides-inner and outor? and what % should i use? anyone know of decent quality tint fom eoithers pep boys, auto zone, napa, checker, etc?

 

I herd from some one you should not tint plexi because it flexes, but if i'm wrong then you should tint the inside only as dark as possible

 

i'll make it easy for you.. you cannot tint plexi. the glue will not stick.

 

how then, can i make a clear moonroof for my CRX?

 

You might try that spray on tint. Who knows...it might work. People used it to tint all kinds of stuff back in the day

 

you can purchase plexiglass that is dyed. that is what i would look into.
