shyistock exhaust question
well my oem exhaust is rusted to ****, you can see inside of the muffler almost.
i have to put my stock exhaust back on.. so my question is this
1) can i just my stock oem muffler.. how well will it flow?
2) if i buy an aftermarket stock replacement, will it flow better then the oem one or will it be AS restrictive?

i wouldnt recommend putting that rusted oem muffler at all.
why do you have to put it back on? smog?
the oem piping is smaller in diameter, compared to an aftermarket perf. exhaust.
having it welded on to larger piping will restrict the flow and cause it to bottleneck.
an aftermakret stock replacement might flow better.. it all depends on specs.

no, they passed a new law here where i live where you cant have an aftermarket exhaust louder than your stock.. so i gota switch it back, they pulled me over aug 1st.. so tryin to get it fixed
i was thinkin of one of the midas or minakee replacements. would they do the horzontal mount muffler or no?
