13.6:1 compression stock sleeves???????
Im going to purchase some IB super Dupers gasported pistons 13.6:1 compression I wanted to run stock sleeves with race gas. I think its possible just would like another few opinions from people who actually run big compression motors. Oh its 85mm bore.
85 mm bore is REALLY big for the stock sleeves, even on mild compression (9.5-10:1). Being that you are running high compression, where you pretty much HAVE TO run race gas anyways, I would highly recommend sleeving the block. Your looking at a lot of pressure for such thin, stock sleeves at 85mm.

I run 84.5mm on 12.5:1ompression right now but after talking to a local all motor shop Im going to sleeve that sucker. Go 86 on 14.51. Its a race car so no street driving for me to begin with. Guess I need to start saving up for multiple head gasket money.
