Clutch cable is too loose, your clutch is always engaged thus not letting you shift. Try tightening your cable, otherwise you've got internal problems, throw-out bearing, pressure plate etc.

Those were symptons I had when my differential cracked and bit into the axel ring clip. My tranny ended up taking a dump on me at 50 mph. Does your shifter ever start to knock like it someone is hitting it with a hammer, that was my second symptom before it blew apart. I would try first checking to make sure your tranny fluid level is good or maybe replace it with some Honda MTF you can get from any Honda/Acura Dealer. Could be simple, could be major, be careful when trying to jam it into gear cause it might lock up on you without warning. - Darrell

Glad it was something simple. When I had that problem it ended up being the PP.
