anyone ever done this?
i need a new rack. or at least i need to rebuild mine. was wonder if a power steering rack from a sedan will fit in my non-power steering 89 hb. i dont plan to put the pump in, so would i be benefit from this at all? hoping to get a better ratio. but dont know squat about this stuff, just figured if i gotta fix it might as well try to make things better.

Well if the rac was desgined for powersteering i dont think you should use it. cause the racks that were desgined to be used without power steerting are differnt i think. Someone please correct if im wrong

I'd think if you were to use it, you'd have to have some tanks on the ends and have the fluid dump into the tanks as its pushed back and forth...
