Default Spending the weekend doing what I enjoy most [Pics]

Started this afternoon and hopefully plan on finishing by tommorow afternoon.

List of plans:[*]Short shifter changed back to stock shifter[*]94 Integra GSR rear disc conversion[*]4040 Proportioning valve[*]90-91 JDM CRX SiR Tail lights[*]don't mess anything up

What has been done as of tonight! (9/18/04)[*]removed tail lights[*]removed exhaust + heatshields[*]remove interior parts[*]rear discs have resurfaced rotors + brand new oem honda pads

Looks like a fun filled day tommorow full of work.

Here are pics from today:

Here is some tech info I found out:
88-91 Share the same tail light gaskets. I was about to order $55 dollars worth of brand new oem gaskets from Honda but discovered that they were the same. Just reusing my old ones.

Have fun. BTW, what i found is that sometimes the new tail lights when combined with old gaskets can lead to a wet trunk when it rains. Those OEM gaskets get old and brittle. Also how new is your M/C? The bleeding process may cause it take a **** on u soon after.

Lot's of fun
Why didn't you use the DA trailing arms? Are the gsr ta's better?
For my weekend project I did an "autopsy" on my old d15b2 and repainted the wiper blades on the hatch.

Don't pump the pedal to the floor and you should be fine. But prepare some extra $$ for the unexpected. **** happens.

Godridge brake lines are nice Hopefully none of your suspension bolts break on you... Give them all a good coating of anti-sieze; good preventive maintenance.

I got the brake lines for close to $110 or something like that shipped from Flamenco-T on this board

I have the gsr trailing arms because that is all I could find in good condition at the time. I was debating swapping over just the discs and using the stock trailing arms but I won't hassle with that.

I have a DA non-abs booster and mc that I will be upgrading to when I do the front brakes sometime later this year. All in due time. I would do it all right now but friends are busy plus I myself am really busy with school/work.

Oh, the gaskets were sealing fine before so I don't see why they wouldn't hold up now

Well it's about time!

Say, you have the same jack and jackstands as I do, did you get that as a kit from Sears, with the tire iron, the rolling little chair, the jumper cables, and that fender pad thing?

I am using a 4040 prop valve from a DA I suppose. Pretty sure that is where it came from.

It bolts up perfectly and looks just like the stock unit.

So far I have the stock prop valve removed and IT WAS SUCH A PAIN. Took so long wrenching it off. Easy yet painfull.

The rear discs have been fully bulted up along with ebrake cables. I still have to bolt down the ebrake cables and adjust them inside the cabin. The shifter has been installed and just needs to be bolted up to the shift linkage.

Tail lights are on too and they are suppppperrrr nice.

90% sure I should finish everything up by today.

Goodrich lines are great. I thought it was only rear lines for $110 but it was front and rear! Suprised

How well do the DC trailing arms fit?

Have any offset issues?

If you want ITR style brakes you can do it without going to 5 lug, which is going to run you a LOT of money.

Unless of course you want 5 lug just to have "5 lug"
