i installed an apc SS when did my b16 swap. i notice that when you shift from any gear to any rear it doesn't shift smoothly. i don't gring or anything, i guess the best way describe it is like if your car was stopped and you try to put it in reverse and it won't slide in, you almost have to give it a little extra mucsle and then it goes into gear. it kinda feels like its just not alinging correct. hope that make sence. anyhow is that normal on these trannies or is the apc thing not lineing the syncros up right?

 

what model do i need it for? the lever goes up and it points toward the back and not the front right?

 

i know a lot of people have apc ss so please just let me know how smooth they shift. any input is appreciated. Thanks

i have a skunk2 shifter so it could be similar. you may need to loosen that long bolt w/nut that slides through the shift linkage and short shifter. mine was being stubborn until i adjusted it. haven't had a problem since.
