Default Did alternator myself FINALLY

Last year i was trying to get my alternator out of my ef for a month and half and finally gave up and had my friend take the car to his house and he did it for a 100 bucks, now i did it today all by myself, i finally did, im very proud be happy with me! Again all of you have givin me the power!!!

100 bucks is alil over priced....friends should do it for free since it only takes a few minutes.

i know, i asked you guys and SEARCHED plenty of times, but no one would tell me all i had to do was undo the motor mount and jack up the motor and walllahh

wow, you didnt even have to do that...

just unbolt the lower bracket of the alternator and it comes out...

ef alternators arent that long of a job......
disconnect neg cable to battery, unbolt the alternator brackets, take the belt off, slip it out the back of the motor thru the opening near the rear-front crossmember, install in reverse order.....

It's easy to do if you still have your stock D15/D16 but if you have a B series swap it looks like you'll have to remove the driver side axle and intermediate shaft .

Yeah I can do my B16 alt (including axle removal, if I choose to do it that way) in about an hour.

word your friend fucked you over...

i had to do my friend's for him when he got stranded...he called me at 12:00am when i was sleeping and had his gf pick me up, i got down there about 2 am. finished at around 3 and made it home at 4 am...i didnt charge him **** since he was my friend...
