went to get my oil changed and they put honda sertified oil in my car
is this ok or should i go back and ask them to put synthetic in

they should have put CERTIFIED oil in there

You will be fine as long as its a recommended oil that your owner's manual suggests

 

so synthetic is only recomended not manditory

 

I never use synthetic... It doesn't say you have to use it to my knowledge in the OWNER'S MANUAL

 

Synthetic was never mandatory as far as I know.

It's an option and your choice. Some people swear by it, others by dino.
