Endless searching has led me here! d16z6 questions
My question is about the Non OBD-OBD1 conversion harness, a friend has a DX hatch that we are about to drop a 95 d16z6 into. He wants to use the 95 ecu. My question is if i to the DPFI-toMPFI swap, and use one of the Conversion harnesses, Where will the wires for the grounds on the injectors run to? Do we need to go to the junk yard and get that little plug that the 92-95s use or use the resistor box from a MPFI car? He wants to use the obd-1 injectors, dizzy, and ecu.

All the power wires get soldered up together. Then you run the two extra injector pulse wires from the existing dash harness. Basically you remove the dx ecu then you add the wires now making your dash harness look like a Si model's harness. Put the conversion harness in and connect the p28 ecu. done.
check out http://fourthgenhatch.com Look under the how-to's page for the mpfi swap... It's what I used to figure out the mpfi swap and obd1 conversion.

You need tio add wires (with pins) to proper positions of the A plug on the CRX dash harness for the two additional injectors. Keep in mind that although there are four injector wires connected to the A plug on a DX, two are duplicates. Also keep in mind that you will probably have to move and add distributer wires among the B and C plugs. Unfortunately, it seems like all the available ECU adaptors are made for MPFI models. So you will have to wire up the plugs like a MPFI car.
