Default ITR tranny.........

I was offered to swap my GSR tranny+$500 CDN (~$320 US) for an ITR tranny which was used for 1 hour on a racecar. Should I do it or not? Is it worth it? I'm a little hesitant because it was used on a racecar. Let me know what you guys think.

GO FOR IT, you will notice a difference in acceleration especially in 5th gear. About the tranny being used on a race car for one race, it would be fine. Just do it!!!!
P.S you need it!!!!!!!!

I say go for it, I have a JDM b16A tranny in my GSR, the increase in acceleration is unparalled.

I think I will do it. I know the driver of the racecar and everyone says he's good and I shouldn't worry about him beating on the tranny. I might as well throw a flywheel on there since the tranny's coming out. I'll let you guys know how it is. Thanks.

well what about this option....you can by a jdm final drive gear for about 450? that changes your whole gearing ratio so its just like that type -r..but doh you dont the the lsd . YEAH GET IT!!!

Ya, the lsd is a big part of why I'm considering this.
