I have a 97 Accord SE automatic. once I reach about 30mph it starts making a whining /howling noise. I have found if I shift into neutral the noise is still there. it remains constant during acceleraton and I dont hear it ever in park or below 30.

 

could be a wheel bearing,drive it and turn from left to right and see if the noise changes
