ek "jerks"/hestitate

ek "jerks"/hestitate
just bought an ek, but the car jerks/hesitate in all gears. did a search, not much came up. would this be a distributor problem? what should i check, and what should i change?

no cel light, well if the cars not performing up to spec... time to go threw the system and work out some maintenance, plugs, cap, rotor, re-do grounds, check t-belt, and flush rad/oil change.
