Default H23 Pistons and Rods...

Tried searching for results on both of these, and can't find anyone other than crower who makes H23 rods... Just wondering what my options are.

As far as pistons go, use a 22 low compression piston both 87mm bore

Well, I was told that the point on the piston that the wrist pins sit, are differnt on the h22 pistons than the h23, pistons. so with a h23 rod and h22 piston it would throw off wher the piston sits on the head.

Thus you need to get both h23 / h23, or h22 / h22 .. piston / rod combos

The wrist pin locations are different on the piston from the h22 to h23, so you can run them but it will bump up/down your compression depending on how you do it.

Go with the crower billets. The IB's are dogshit.

Here is a post reguarding the IB vs. Crowers that I wrote up:

Well after seeing personally a set of Pauters going that are going into an H23, I would have to say go w/ the Pauters. They are very close to the price of the Crower's, and have much more meat on them.

Yea, but also think of it thi way, more meat isn't always a good thing.. Extra rotating mass will be a burden, as well. Any links to Pauter rods?
