help, i tried puttin some coilover son my car on ym stock struts and once they were on i took out the jhack the top of the strut came shouting up under the hood, any way a can bracket it down or anyone one know what to do?

sounds like u forgot one of the washers at the top of the strut. r the shockes knocking dents in ur hood?

Exactly. The main washer, and there's nothing to keep it from pushing out through the top. You need to backtrack and make sure you re-install all of the washers/bolts.

 

get that washer on asap

 

When I installed my Teins I almost did the same thing . Thank God I had the hood up at the time, but that's exactly what happened. I forgot to put a washer on that kept the strut rod from coming up through the pillow mounts. Get that fixed a.s.a.p.
