indentify type r internals in b16a head??
I'm about to purchase a b16 head with complete type r internals...
First off I can't find the link to the b-series vtec cam indentification.
and second is their anyway to really tell itr valves, springs, retainers, etc??
thanks.

well, with CTR or ITR internals there should be a few differences...(somebody feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)....
-the valve springs, if authentic type-r units, should be dual springs which means there will be a second set of springs inside the main set of springs.
There will be notches/grooves on the ends of the camshafts (not sure which side)
Intake cams:
3 notches = CTR intake cam (better, I believe)
2 notches = ITR intake cam
Exhaust cams:
2 notches = CTR/ITR cam (I believe they're the same)
not sure about the valves/retainers

dont ITR's have dual valve springs on both sides? I know my stock b16 outers had a green stamp on the exhaust side and a red stamp on the intake side
Yeah the ITR will have dual springs on both sides rather than just the intake on the b16. The retainers are the same but the ITR intake valves are stainless steel and have a thinner valve stem. I can take a pic of mine if you like.
