Default did a search = no luck: will 90-91 crx SI seats fit in 89 crx dx?

i just picked up some 90-91 crx SI seats was wondering if they will bolt right into my 89 dx crx....i heard that 90-91 seats need 88-89 rails? is this true?...someone let me know...

I do not think they will. I believe that you must use the 88-89 si seats to have a direct bolt in.

it will work...

all 88 crx and as well as the 89 HF are different than that 89-91...

you already have the seats ???well sir..go out and unbolt the 89 dx passenger seat(takes about 4 minutes if you stop for a beer and pretzels even)bring that puppy inside..take the 90-91 Si passenger seat,flip it upside down and..see if they will work..thats the only way to know..people on here say there is a 100% correct answer for seats(still a bit of a gray area with belt mounted doors,etc.) but..you dont know for sure till you look..if the rails wont match up..swap out the seat pans..be careful not to cut/poke yourself with the "sharp pointy clips" holding the pan to the butt portion..sharp little bastards they are good luck sir
[now how's that for a better answer than SEARCH AGAIN!!!]
