i picked up a set of apexi N1s, 99spec. from a friend, and got the car sitting nice, finger gap all around, but i was wondering if its possible to lower them more without blowing out the struts. if im going to have a FIRM ride, i might as well be on the ground

Those things retail for over two grand I believe. If you can't slam them to their lowest point without blowing the struts and without a smooth ride then I sure as hell wouldn't have bought them.

 

well, their meant for smooth raceing surfaces, so comfort is not a neccesity, their not bad. i like the firm ride. but all i wanted to know was if i can lower them and keep them handling as good.

like you said, if they make the threads go that low, i SHOULD be able to use them. in theory.

 

i have the n1's and they are lowered a 1/4 inch from lowest point and wheels are tucked. no problems at all so i would think so.
