Oil on my Sparkplugs?
I just recently changed the plugs in my 97' Special Edition Accord due to my engine being a little sluggish. That fixed the problem however, when I pulled the old plugs I noticed oil on the #2 and #3 plugs. Not a significant amount but enough to notice them being wet.
The engine doesn't smoke and the car runs fine. Is this anything that I need to worry about?
Also, what can I do to increase this cars performance?
Thanks
J.

rocker arm o rings leaking. there are 4 of them one for each spark plug. they are made of rubber and get hard with time. it requires you to remove the valve cover and loosen all the valves then loosen all the rocker cam bolts in sequence and remoc it and replace them. I would recommend a dealer or Honda specialist to do this.
hey, i have the same issue, my 97 accord with 223,000miles on it, I found oil on both plugs 2 and 3, and the car sputters when i hit the gas. I've replaced the valve cover gasket cause it was leaking, and the ones for the plugs too, but when i removed the plugs from the place they screww into, the oil that was in the cylinder went into the place the plugs screwed into. how do i get the oil out.
