Default Car dies after I press the clutch in, NEED HELP!!!

I have GSR turbo set-up , just put the clutch in about 3 or 4 months ago.

The car has been making noise every time I press the clutch in, I could

hear the release bearing making it. Now I asked my stepdad to look at the

car and he said the bearing is seized, he says that the reason for the car

wanting to die after I press the clutch in. Has Anybody had this problem? if

so can you please tell me what the problem was.

If you drove with your foot resting on the clutch or did not have the clutch adjusted properly, that can wreck the TO bearing.
If the TO bearing is ok, you could be wiping out the rear thrust washer inside your engine. That will also cause the engine to freeze when you push in the clutch. Lets hope it is the clutch and not internal.

Yo thanks for replying, THis is what I did. I took the transmission out and

replaced the TO bearing. The problem was still going on, so my stepdad

took a closer look and it's the crankshaft bearing.

The problem with the car is that when I press the clutch, the entire

crankshaft assembly shifts over towards the pulley. Thats probably the

reason why I snapped two alternator belt in two weeks. Since the

crankshaft shifts over so do the connecting rod, pulley and belts .

He said that the crankshaft bearing need to be replaced as soon as

possible. As I was driving home today the noise was getting louder,

sounds like a piston is hitting a valve or piston slap. I hope that its just the

main bearings and nothing else, Thanx for replying.

Where's the rear thrust washer? engine or block? whats the exact location?

cartoon network.............who told you? My luck one of my friends had a

block laying around and he gave it to me. I Took the bottom of the block

out and it's not looking good for my old crankshaft. The spare block I have

has all the same components and they are in great shape. I'll swap all that

stuff out this weekend, I'm debating on wether or not to sell the car.
