just got my hood,duckbill and spoon replica lip from them......... and they were the shittiest things i have ever baught..... they had holes thru the entire front lip like some fukin old lady tried to put some yarn together and coated over it and the duckbill had some cracks and all this glue **** that wont come off it ........... they have lost a customer and wont be buying **** from vis cause there **** blllllowwwwwwwwwsss double "a" grade my assss more like triple F ****...... my homie got some no name cf **** thats ****** better then vis there **** sucks!!!!

what dealer did you purchase it from. You can go flaming on a well known company without giving detail. what did you buy it from, and how much did you pay for it.

Its funny, in the 240sx community all i ever heard was that VIS was low quality ****, then i come to honda and everyone loves it.

 

its wack ****, high grade my ****....... i purchased it from vis thru a homie who went with me and got me the deal cause i was picking up 2 hoods, 1 lip and 1 duckbill........... i payed 1000 dollars for the entire thing and waited about 1 week to get my stuff in cause they didnt have any, to open my boxes and see what kinda cf work they do........... it literally had gaps of holes between the weaves that looked like some old blind lady thru them together.....

I've heard bad thing about everybody..... That's what you get sometimes. Doesn't mean it's right, but it happens. Not everything comes out perfect.

yeah iam sure it is........... cause the homie buys all the **** for there m3's from vis and gets deals and thats how i got my deal......... i use to think vis had stamps on there **** but not my stuff it was just wrapped up in vis packagin....... iam going to the store to give them there **** back since there closed on the weekends, but **** like this angers me

These seem a bit over the top...i dont think they would ship out/sell products that are this bad off. <U>Most</U> of the VIS stuff ive seen was top notch...fitment wasnt perfect..but the quality was. For me to further evaluate your statements im gonna need to see some pics.

 

Thats weird. I have personally picked up two cf hoods and the duckbill spoiler and they didnt have any defects at all. This is the first i've heard of VIS doing this.

Also the first bad thing Ive heard about vis quality.
I just bought myself a hood and I still feel confident that it will be just great (quality and fitment)
Call the distributor, vis, send pictures, etc. I bet, if its as bad as you say, someone will fix this issue

all VIS products have Tags in the resin! You aint got VIS if it aint tagged!

 

I got a carbon fiber wing from them too and I got it in the same condition. The ENTIRE seem was cracked up, it didn't fit right and it leaked. I called them and they basically told me to F@$# Off. Poor customer service. I have had 4 VIS hoods though and even a cf lip they were all fine just the spoiler was all fucked up

 

all this downgrade talk is useless without pics
maybe it's the package carrier...not the company

 

Try no name brand on EBAY next time

 

I have seen some, maybe 5% of bad VIS parts but they have always been able to fix the problem.Maybe you got the deal because they were stuff that was sitting for a long time.I havent seen a perfect bodykit since I've been painting cars.7 yrs and counting.

I'm sure defects do get out the door, but that seems a little extreme from the VIS I'm used to...cracks, gaping holes, and completely missing badges.
