Will SSR Type C 4x100 15"x7.5 +43 fit on a 6th gen?
SSR website site and Tirerack indicates that 6th gen can only use up to 15"x7. I am wondering if anyone uses 15"x7.5 on their car?
Many thanks
Many thanks
havin 16x7 rims on my car (kosei k1's) i had to grind down the rear lca in order to stop the grinding coming from the rear of my car, my rim grindin the lca, durin cornering so my suggestion would be to steer away from the 7.5 in. I would say no bigger than 7
inside edge would rub against the lca in the rear of my car i have the rim with the damage to it if you want me to post pics i can tomorrow cuz its night now i dont feel like takin pics. if you still cant visualize lmk and ill try to remember to take pics tomorrow
Cause I thought the lca runs perpendicular to the rims and it goes behind the drum/disc, hence, I don't understand how the rim can touch it.
It is very kind of you to take photos, I appreciate it. No rush, whenever you have time
I will look again tomorrow morning and see where it could possibly make contact.

Oh ok, no problem man. I will check it out tomorrow.
The reason I asked was because a local shop told me that some folks are using wider wheels compare to, say, a 15x6.5 sw388. But I want to stay with 15". Currently, I am using a very old Racing Sparco N1 14" rims, 14x6 I believe. But these rims are +37 offset and I don't know how low I can go on them. I got the suspension ready but waiting for next spring cause winter is approaching rather shortly. That's another reason that I might need to go with higher offset rims so in case the drop becomes too severer, at least the metal won't cut the tyre.
Maybe 15x7.5 +43 offset with a 3mm spacer?
