I will be uploading another 16 tonight, and should have them posted by tomorrow morning. Overall, I had a blast. Though I wouldn't necessarily call it a good thing; I learned much from going 4 wheels off after turn 11 VIR is truly world class. The facilities are clean, the staff is great, and most of all the track is both beautiful and challenging at the same time

It was a great weekend spent with friends, and it was also great to be able to meet some new folks too. See you next time at the track!

Yes, it was oak tree, 11a actually. I simply apexed early, had too much speed, went 2 wheels off driver's left into the dirt, tried to correct, but went off to the right. Once in the grass, I spun 180 degrees, which was why I was facing the track when you saw me. Quite frightening to say the least for my first, and only off of the weekend. Nevertheless, a great learning experience as 11a is now one of my favorites

most all call Oak tree 11, but some refer to it as 11a and 11b, 11b being where the flagger and tree are.

Wow! The grass is greener on the other side. The course looks nice! The cars in the picture is a plus

 

I had a great time seeing all the itr-nc guys there once again, and drinkin a few brews in the inkeeper parking lot! Im saving my pennies as we speak to make the next event
And big thanks to Will for the ride along! It was sweet!
