Default 20 thousand off head ???

if you take 20 thousand off the b16 head. The Combustion Chamber Volume
(cc per cylinder) is 42.70 ,what would be the cc per cylinder with 20 thousands taken off ?

more like .5-.6 higher c.r. from what i know, shaving a head 33 thou will add one full point of compression.

if you are running moderate timing, you won't necessarily detonate.

Talk to the machinist. Generally to make the surface flat they would only take off 2-3 thou. If you want 20 off, you would ask for it.
