1990 accord lx d4 light blinking help ?

my friends accord d4 light starts to blink afther 5 min or so and the gears start not to work and have to shift to d3 to drive from there i can drive but not on d4 only when you frirst turn it on the gears are fine but after

you'll need to jump the service check connector and read the blinks on "d4" light.
find out which code is it first, can't help you if you're not helping yourself.
are there any other symptom?

bringing it back from the dead...
what did you do to fix it?
mine is blinking 7 times which is the lower trans shift solenoid...do i have to replace it? or is it the TCM?
