Default Thinking about putting the R on AutoTrader

As said in the title I'm thinking about putting my car on AutoTrader. I'm expecting a lot of low offers. What do you guys think of me asking $16,000? I did a search of 300 miles for 97-98 Integras (Type R's). Only one came up and it's a '98 Turboed + other mods. The seller is asking $17500

My car is a still a virgin. Here is my H-T for sale thread if anyone cares to bump it or PM me about it

Why not do a no mileage limit search and see what they are going for? Seems people will travel a great distance to pick up the right car. I would make the price ~$1000.00 higher than you hope to get for it.

Very good suggestion I was going to mention the same until I had read the posts....I have sold many used cars in the past.

Always aim higher with your "asking" price (to a reasonable negotiable point) where as it will give you more room when the purchaser tries to negotiate

EDIT: the first pic of your for sale post is beautiful

That's a darn shame that your selling it. That thing is ****. I would like to get some pictures of your 97 and my 97 before you sell it and I ship mine back to Hawaii, if you don't mind. I'll buy you coffee or a beer or something.

I have to agree iwth the others, that if your going to sell it, aim higher than what you want so you have some room to negotiate. And yes if the price is right, people will travel.

I flew 3500 miles and drove it 3800 miles back.

We can do a 3-way '97 shoot

Andre, you'll regret selling, but do what you gotta do.

Autotrader it should sell pretty quick and for a fair price, there is a lot of smart/lowballers on the forums that want it for dirt cheap. Good luck
