idle problem

whats up everyone?? ...well heres my problem ... when my car is idleing my engine gives off like a pulsing sound .. anyone have any ideas about what that could be .. thanks for your help

Be more specific.... What is it doing exactly? Are the RPMs high, low, erratic(sp), normal? Is the sound high pitched low? Give us more info.

ITS HIGH REVING AND WHEN THE CAR IS COLD THE SOUND IS LOUDER THAN IF THE ENGINE IS HOT

got similar problems..... i thought it was the iac, switched that and still have the same idle problems. it probably is the iac but not 100% sure.

well, your car is suppose to idel high when you fist start your car. to get the motor to the specific operating temp. once it reaches it, it will idel lower. thats normal.
