hey I got a 96-00 hatch wanted to put in a h22 or b18c but dont wanna spend the extra cash for some dude to put in my engine, so any 1 know where i can get a good guide or any 1 wanna send me a guide ? any help would be appreciated.

Well for H22 swap check out my buddies post. There is some very helpful stuff in here. As for a B-series swap, just search and you'll find some helpful stuff.

I would go with b18c1, easier and will come out to the same money.

 

If you look on here youll find some good info, the H is cheaper if you do your own work, but is harder and takes longer. But it also has more power stock...

Words of advice are to look at every you take off very carefully as a lot stuff is the same, there are many sensors with the same plugs that will plug into other things and dont go there. hope this helps. KYLE

 

I would go gsr but i can get the h22 cheaper and im making a friend of mines help me since he put a h22 in his del sol ... we'll see what happens

 

You will need to buy mount kit, convert shitlinkage shifter to cable (like K series, can get it out accord I believe, or prelude), extend some wires. There is a whole write up on this thing (it's not the best though)

 

it all comes down to which is quicker in my book. If they come out to the same money why would you buy a b18?
