Timing belt walk? WTF?! It cut hole in my valve cover...
Ok I'm stumped and so is every person I have asked. How would the belt walk? Motor has 2,938 miles on it. Everything is brand spanking new. Have a look:

What in the world?

Your pics are busted, but 99 times out of 100 a moving T-Belt has something to do with the tensioner. Most of the time it's that it wasn't properly tightened.
For one, their is alot of oil that you can see on the belt and gears, fix the oil problem on the cam caps and put a new belt and tensioner on you'll be good. They tend to slip and move when oiled up like that.
The pics are misleading there, no oil is present. All there is is TONS of black dust being the remains of my belt
wow, your newly cut valve cover should accomodate cam gear tuning very well
I agree, look at the tensioner or other things down there that the timing belt rides on, something's off center

Thinking the same thing. People forget this sometimes and the timing belt will run away from you...
