Default Need to borrow or buy"cheap" Engine hoist in DFW area ASAP!

Heya guys i'm in need of a small engine hoist to put my engine back into the car. I would rent one be all the rental places carry these big monster hoist and dont wanna buy one for this one time deal. However, any one in the dfw/north dallas area have one collecting dust in their garage collecting dust that I could borrow for a day or rent or buy for a good price ?? There's a rental place on Carrier in Grand Prairie so you can probably rent one at a rental place in Garland, Plano, or Mesquite.

Or, go buy the one at O'Reilly and be careful with it so you can return it when you are done. If they don't give you your money back call the (800) number on the back of the delivery truck and complain. Trust me, they'll take it back.

No, he's asking if someone has a hoist he can borrow. Many times on here, there are generous members who travel to help people or let them use their tools.

come on.. somebody help the man. I'm in mass, so if you wanna start walking.. i'll throw some nos on the hoist, hit rt1 down to rt45, meet you in nevada... just hope i can turn with the side thrusters.. OMFG I HAVE TO GOTO BED

HAHA, Well if no one can help me I guess I'm gonna buy the one at pep boys for 119 bucks then sell it aterwards! Com on I'm sure someone has one collecting dust!

i got one from pepboys for $120. now its sitting in my mother-in-law's back yard.

get a 4x4 and some steel cables ur all good man
thats me hahah

only do this when you have no no other options
get 4 guys and its all good
