Default LS Motor w/ US ITR pistons...smog issues?

I may have to pull my GSR head off to get my car to pass smog...and just wondering if having ITR pistons would get my CR higher than normal to pass...I will probably get a thicker headgasket just to be sure but what's a safe thickness too that would put me back to stock CR??

I would leave the engine alone, and try smogging it as-is.
