Default Buddy Club Spec 3+ better than my Skunk2 Stage 1

I have been doing a little bit of reading up on the new buddy club spec 3+ cams and have been quite impressed. They have a lot of duration with stocklike lift which would allow me to use my stock ITR valvetrain. There is some good info about these cams here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=795645

My motor currently has skunk2 stage 1 cams:

I would like to gain some more midrange and smooth out the transition onto the VTEC lobe, but without losing top end power.

Do you think that my motor would benefit from switching to the new BC 3+ cams?

I am installing them on my new motor when I get it together.. I used to run Toda C cams in my built all motor engine that blew up.. Lets put it this way.. I wasn't making good enough power with the Toda C cams to rebuild another high compression shortblock.. Also consider they are Killing every other cam out there in torque.. Also they are making huge mid range power over everything. I mean some guys are making well over 190whp with GSR engines, head gaskets, and crappy exhuast systems.. So consider a ITR engine that has better following head with those cams, Good exhuast/intake, and some tunning.. But thats my 2 cents from reading through all the posts and threads on these cams can't seem to find anything bad about them.. Plus Buddy Club has them Priced just right...

Got plots? What blew up your C motor?

Toda B's with stock valvetrain made me happy. Sure I didn't make great top-end without revving over the stock limiter, but the midrange bump was very apparent.

Red civic - you don't mention what other mods you had with the Skunk cams - what fuel tuning were you using? Cam gears? Etc? Who tuned the car?

just got mine and you can deffinately tell a diff. in the mid range power but these cams run way rich at idle (makes it lope something crazy) but that should go away once it is tuned
