I got shafted
I just bought a 4th gen manual 4d. I traveled all the way to NC, thinkin I was getting a rust-free southern car. The dealer I got it from was a lying a**hole. A little word of advice to anyone trying to get a rust-free honda. Take a hand mirror and a flashlight and carfully look at the inside lip of the wheelwell all the way around both rear wheels. and look for any sign of repair. I didn't. I got hosed.
if the guy is a dealer who wants to stand by his reputation then he should address the problem...did you try talking to him about it. if he is really an a-hole about it, report his ***

this is a common problem for a lot of the older generation honda cars. the plastic wheelwell traps water at the edge of the fender where the wheelwell meets and forms rust.
