i need new tires!
i just picked up a set of Rota Slips and i was wondering what everyone out there is using in 195/50 size tires? i am thinking of Dunlop SP 8000's right now because i have heard good things of them. any suggestions on a better tire?
i need something that will give excellent cornering AND straightline grip along with decent rain traction AND still doesnt cost more than $80ea.
thanks

i dont know how much these tires cost around where you are
but here s a list of favorite pics of mine from cheapest to expensive
Potenza S02
Yokohama AVS Intermediate
Advan A032R
Advan A038
Ive had and used all these tires.. If your gonna use them for rain also I recommend the Yokohama AVS Intermediates. BTW im running 205/55/15.

"Kumhos Ecsta Supra 712's are still my Favorite...."
I second that, we got my girl a set for her gsr, best tires ive ever driven on. They get really good traction and are a good all around weather tire.

Definitely..... Saturday night it was pouring, and these babies held the road as if it was dry. The wet traction in these things is awesome... must be that deep *** water channel haha. I just want to know how they perform on the snow though... because snow + crx + b16 + 6 puck clutch = wont go anywhere from a stop in 1st gear haha
I have a set of Dunlop SP5000's on my slipstreams and really like how they perform, Z-rated tire for a cheap price. I have yet to try a set of Kumho's but that would be my next choice since everyone seems to like them...I'd stay with a set of 195/50/15's on the rota's 'cause they are only 6.5" in diameter. The 205's sit a little high for my liking and won't give you much of a performance gain.
I've looked at the Toyo T1-S just because they come in a 195/45/15, but they are expensive...

I would definitely suggest the Dunlop Sp 8000's. I had some on my Civic in 195/50/15. They were great tires. But now I have cheap Nitto 450's and they absolutely suck!!!! Whatever you do don't get them!
