Default 90-91 corner lights on an 89 - looking for a definitive answer

i have an 89 CRX, and I'm going to the u-pull-it this weekend to pick up a new fender. if i get the fenders off a 90-91 CRX, and I also grab the corner lights, will they work fine? I know how the 89 corner lights attach, but the 90-91s are a mystery to me. searching just confused me more... basically, where do the 90-91 corners screw down? Thanks.

In the 90-91 Civic/Crx Fenders, there is 2 clips that the Corners slide into at the back and a Screw at the top of the light to hold it in place..

Can't put 88-89 on 90-91 and can't put 90-91 on 88-89

the 90-91 corners slide in like Slammed_CX said. After they are slid in, there is a screw that goes into the 90-91 headlight bracket. The hole for the screw is absent on the 88-89 headlight bracket though. If you get the fenders and corners, you will just have to find a way of holding them from sliding out. I actually have a 90-91 corner on my 88-89 fender. I just have bailing wire holding the whole thing in, no sliders or anything. I am so ghetto, it hurts. Good luck.

Yeah you can get any year EF lights to work you just have to change the headlight for the correct year corner. As mentioned before, the mounting screw for the 90-91 is in the headlight bracket. The sliders or screw holes should be matched up too, but aren't really necessary. I have 90-91 lights in my 88 without the sliders no problem, I just switched to 90-91 JDM headlights. Yes my car, that I am talking about is a hatch, but I've done it on a CRX too. I would stay away from the ghetto rigging the light braket though, unless you really don't care.
