Default Help a brotha out! (i know squat about cars)

well like 3 days ago i was driving, everythings normal then the next day i drove my car started making a constant ticking noise. The noise only appears when i let the clutch out. When its in, it sounds normal. someone told me it could be my throwout bearing but we'll see.
thanks

I had this problem. It was the throwout bearing. I just got a new act clutch kit (which includes the bearings) and problem solved

yea, i had the same problem. people told me it was my throwout bearing so i replaced that, the clutch, the pilot bearing, and main seal. put the tranny back on and still heard it it was my tranny.

if it is, just wait until it goes out completely...throw out bearings are funny some times...they will make all kinds of noise and still work for a pretty good amount of time. you can also look into a clutch (if it's worn or tired) since it will be right there when the bearing is replaced.
