vafc vs safc

i was wondering if i could use a apexi vafc on my 89 civic( stock ecu, d16a6, 8psi) even though i do not have vtec?

what, i just wouldnt hook up the vtec wire, just leave it?

That is correct don't hook up the vtec wire.

yes you can run a VAFC on a non-vtec motor. but i don't see how that has anything to do with an SAFC.
