Default Now I'm really stumped??!!

I can't figure this out, maybe someone has an idea. I have a 93 accord with an H22, I had my vtec controller hooked up and working for the past 2 weeks but I took the back plastic off so could clean it. I also have my center console off and the metal body of the car exposed.

So I have the controller open and exposed and no console. My dumbass drops the controller with the circuit board and all the electical parts hitting the metal body. Small sparks flew and the controller fried, of course.

I disconnected the controller and the car runs fine but now my radio wont turn on and everytime I start the car, my clock always turns on at 1:00. I checked the fuse for the radio but its fine. Any ideas?

my guess is that the chassis of the radio is metal to metal to that metal that you had exposed and the shock fried the radio but left the fuse fine because the fuse was not between the radio and the shock. looks like you may have to purchase a new radio. what you may want to do is test it in a friends car and see if the radio is good or if you have bigger problems.

You blew the BACK-UP fuse in the underhood fuse box. The fuse is in the rear righthand corner of the fusebox when looking at the fusebox from the front of the car. It should be a 7.5 amp fuse.
