can i get some opinions?
what do you think is a better buy, i found two cars im interested in getting i have about 5500 dollars right now for a car and some mild mods i can get a 94 civic ex 4 door with like 80k on itfor 4000 or a 97 civic cx hatch with 100k for 3500, which so you think is the better buy?
go with the hatch, in the long run you wont regret it. VTEC doesnt really make the car much better. its just a matter of a few horse power.

I wouldnt say just a few horsepower... depends on who you talk to...
But I will second the HB though. Get the HB and feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel the slowness of a cx motor and when you swap it will be like night and day! You'll appreciate it!

The CX would be just as cheap as the 4 door. CX is base model, no power steering, no tach, a few other things like lower horsepower. To the insurance company it is a pretty basic affordable economic car.
Personnaly my brothers eg hatch is cheaper than my si(canadian yes) coupe of the same year.

seems too good a deal on the hatch to be true. if its in great shape, get the hatch. I mean, the 5th gen sedan is hideous and boring as **** looking. the CX is better, and has serious potential. Plus its OBD-II, easier to work on in my opinion, more ready for higher level upgrading, better car i think. hey, its your money, but my vote is the hatch.
hatch it up
, i was looking for the hatch, but i found my 2nd sedan for 700 on h-t (vouch for jsw1gga) and its great, but i still wish i had a hatch.
d series turbo it up!!!!! with the money u buy the b18 for u can have a newer d series motor and turbo kit. but thats my opinion
