Default EP3 coilover problem....

i have an 03 EP3 and i put the tein basic system on it, and my problem is that one of my struts broke which makes for a crappy ride and is ver annoying. does anyone know where i can order just one tein strut for the basic system. any input would be great. thanks

call tein directly, hoping this won't void your warranty for whatever reason it broke.

It's very hard to buy one or two of a coilover set. I know. I broke a Mugen strut. LOL...

Where did you buy your Tein system? Does the dealer not have contacts he could use to try to get you one or two instead of all four?

I thought all Teins could be rebuilt, you just send in the one that's bad and for some price they'll rebuild it (I keep thinking of $75 a damper, but I may be a little low). I'd say call Tein first and ask them what you can do.

He said he broke it, which I think would mean something beyond normal wear and tear, especially since the car's not old enough.

In my case, I actually bent the rod.

that just sounds scary.....

breaking a strut... yea man, definately call up tein. they have an office in the U.S. don't they?

ok ill try and call them directly. i dont really know how it broke. the seals broke and the gas leaked out.....thanks
