dose anyone know where to find a aftermarket back seat for a crx? i have heard that there is a company in europe that sells them.

 

ummm you mean jdm seats? there not hard to find but never heard of aftermarket ones..

 

are theier any other back seats that you could use for a hatchback , like integra or newer civic, i've seen 89 teg backseats in a 91 hatch before..

 

crx rear seats? Do a search this has been covered many times.

 

people have stuck in hatch seats in the back before, they dont fit exactly but people have done it.

 

never heard of anything but JDM rear even that i think is only for JDM bling points i mean most 7 year olds would be cramped in there

I was thinking of doing something custom like adding 3 inches of foam and vinyling them also supporting it better because it would sag if anyone sat on it.

well dose my 4 year old daughter count?????? i am looking for a way to trance port more than two people. and i am not getting rid of or getting a new car. this is my 3rd crx and i love the car. so that is why.

I dunno about you guys but, ive rode 4 deep im my crx several times; it was uncomfortable as hell but definately possible. I dont have a rear seat just the cargo box....now thats crushed and im sure a jdm seat would be more comfortable. I have a pic of my crx also with 9 peeps piled in it when i was restoring my car

You must not care too much about your 4 year old daughter. The entire rear of a CRX is a crumple zone.

Buy a bigger and safer car thats designed to carry your daughter safely. Don't put her in a death trap just because you dont want to buy a newer/bigger car.

 

if you have negative things to say do not reply thay have them in europe and japan so thay must be safe enough thank you and have a good life

 

The United States has much stricter safety laws when it comes to cars. Thats one reason imported cars cost so much to be legalized for US roads. Bumper supports are one example of things that have to be changed to US-Spec.

I dont mean to be so negative towards your idea. I just am concerned about the safety of your 4-year-old daughter when you come across the way you do.

 

Mr. crx, your right about this topic and your also not.

if u care that much of safety, think of the 4 year old kids that might get hurt one day while your in your "1990 CRX DX - B18C1 powered" and u loose control with all that power,

because no matter what anyone says, nobody has put a motor in a crx and has driven it and has NEVER dangerously gone over the speed limit with it.

im probably wrong about this, but anyway lets just help this guy find a back seat like he asked, not give him a safety lesson.
