I got CLifford on mine Intelliguard Kicks ***, this is my second I had one on my Maxima. Worth the money I paid 350 Installed for the Intelliguard 700.
Can anyone recommend a good place to purchase Clifford alarms? Do place sell them online, or are they supposed to only be professionally sold and installed?
we sell the clifford matrix series at Best Buy. Its a great alarm...we have all of the accessories too so BB should be able to take care of you. we are all MECP certified installers...so you get a lifetime warranty on the system and the install
Matrix 1 - shock sensor, parking light flash, 6 tone siren
Matrix 3 - shock sensor, illuminated entry, parking light flash, extended range. 6 tone siren...much louder than the matrix 1. great alarm.
Matrix RS2 - matrix 3 features with remote start
any DEI accessory can be added to the above alarms

What you really want to do is get a clifford avanguard 4. It comes with a built in back up siren (controled by a digital link so you dont need a key), also has starter and ignition kill, wireless immobilizer ( if the brain is unplugged the module goes normally open and kills the fuel line), tilt, proxy, shock sensor, not to mention a built in window module, automatic heaqdlights, and much more. I've been an installer for about 8 years now in SF, CA and im used to the clifford line. I've done about 40 or so AG4's so its a picec of cake now. If you come to SF I'll do it for 650 installed!!!
WTF?? i just paid $750 for the Clifford Concept 600 with the smart siren added on. the shop wanted $1,000 for the AG4 installed. its a shop called Tweeter. its a pretty big shop. and DO NOT go there. my alarm doesnt do a damn thing except arm itself and disarm itself. with none of the sensors working so nothing sets it off. and i have $613 in panel damage and $152 in electrical damage done to my car. so i am gettin it taken out on Monday and gettin my $750 back for the alarm and the $765 for the damages they caused. so i guess i will shop around for the AG4 somewhere else for around $700 installed. or is there a better alarm out?
I don't think there is a alarm out there with more features then the AG4. Install it the key thing when comparing how 'good' an alarm is.
I'm getting the Clifford Solaris installed as we speak for $479. They won't do the remote start because its a manual. But I'll find someone to do it.

Just a simple alarm will do fine. All the extra sensors are just a waste of money in my opinion. The key is getting it installed in a way that the theif can't disable it... it all comes down to the install. I've seen a $2500.00 alarm system installed in an Integra... and about 75% of that was labor alone. A thief would be insane to try to steal it.

Factory one should be fine. I assume it has starter kill, ect.
Spending the money on a new alarm would most likely equal your insurance deductable.
