Is it a 90-91 or 92-93 gearset.... the 90-91 and 92-93 cable tranny internals are different....

hello GSEF9, I know this is an old post. I am in trouble or I wouldn't contact you. I was assembling the main shaft of my 90 Integra LS 5 spd manual/cable "S1" tranny. I scrunched the tiny "synchro spring" for the 5th gear. It's mangled. I went to the Honda/Acura parts people but they want me to buy a $160.00 synchro "set".
OK, I admit I made a knucklehead mistake. Should it be a $160 mistake? So I am contacting you to see if you might have one of these little rings lying around from your transmission activities? I'll pay for shipping?
The item I am seeking is the little circular metal band that fits around the outside of the brass synchro ring. On the main shaft the brass synchro rings and springs are all the same size. Do you have an idea what it is I am seeking? I can be reached at boltwestpalm@aol.com . Thank you.
