Default does anyone have a clifford avantguard 4?

I have an avantguard 4 that i got from another vehicle. I have talked to a couple installers around town and they tell me that they see quite a few of these being returned with problems. Anyone have any experience with this alarm? TIA.

The only problems with the avantguard 4 is that sometimes the antenna goes bad. Other than that, it's usually faulty install. Go to Tweeter ETC. for install.

It's not just the AG4, my friend is also a alarm installer and he DOES not recommend Clifford. He has seen a lot of problems with Clifford alarms, NOT because of faulty install.

I had to have mine replaced 2 months after I got it. No problems the last 12 months though.

the arrow three is a bottom of the line cliford and the avantgaurd is the top go to a go shgop and let them set it up for you , you can even get your doors unlocked by cell phone call if you have the right place hook up yor alarm, be warned quality installs cost alot, but it is well worth it when you still have your ride the next morning especially in FL, where your at.

i would shy away from the clifford. there is a reason that dei refuses to warranty any of the units sold prior to the dei buyout. keep in mind that i am not familiar with clifford anymore. i am assuming that this is the avantguard from a couple years ago.

The AvantGuard 4 is still a current production unit. As long as you purchased and had it installed by an authorized DEI/Clifford dealer, you will have the warranty.
