crx si blown ls!
my friends cousin is sellin his crx si with a blown ls engine in it for $800. The exterior is in great condition wit a brand new si blue paint job and no rust. im gonnin to try to buy it but i just wanted to no how hard it would be to put a b16a in there instead. the tranny is fine so i could just use that one. then i could buy the b16a for $700. is v-tech gonnin to be the hardest part of the swap?
Did he screw up the LS block? If he didn't mess up the block have the bottom end rebuilt and buy a B16 head and make and LS/Vtec. Otherwise it shouldn't be to hard to pull the LS and put a B16 in.
Also please search on this, mucho info out in the archives about this

BAN!
BAN!
id get it make the B18 a N/A non vtec monster thats a fun sleeper motor most ppl think oo just a b18 or some *that don't look twice* will think its a ZC
a LS with head work higher comp and a b16 tranny will rip on alot of cars.
Latly i've been straying away from the nonvtec blocks onto vtec heads but that is a doalbe project if you want
